CURRENT TURN AROUND TIME

Current Turn Around Time- approx 3 to 5 weeks (time in our shop).

WE WILL BE CLOSED 9/21 --> 9/29.

We do not do 'rush' jobs so please plan ahead.  Turn around times can be longer if approval of estimates are required. All items must be CLEANED before sending them in for repair. Unclean items will either be assessed a cleaning fee before repair or returned un-repaired.

As we head toward the end of our 45th year in busi As we head toward the end of our 45th year in business (and my 25th year as owner), I just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that has been part of this journey and supported us over the years. I’ve met a lot of great folks from the many great employees I’ve had the pleasure to work with, to folks at REI and Patagonia who I’ve kept in touch with long after they’ve moved onto other endeavors. I’m grateful for all the support we’ve received over the years from customers near and far. We’ve definitely evolved over time, changing our services and capabilities along the way, but our end goal is still the same; to keep gear going longer and to keep stuff from heading to the landfill prematurely. Thank you all!

All that constant use can create quite the build up of dirt and grime… and way down in the corners and crevices there’s often debris and pet hair lurking. Perhaps it’s time for a little cleaning? Turn your pack inside out, grab a stiff brush, a bar of @felsnapthaclean and some warm water. Get scrubbing with your brush and soap and you’ll be amazed how quickly you can get it cleaned up. We did this process outside with a hose and then ran the pack through a front loading washer for a final wash and rinse. It was hung it up to drip dry for about a day. Next up is a main zipper replacement and this pack will be ready for more daily use. #repairworthy #repair #washed #washing #clean #patagonia #sewing

Are you the kind of person that is leaving your te Are you the kind of person that is leaving your tent set up in the backyard all summer? Extended exposure to UV rays ☀️ will significantly weaken the fabric of your tent and it can easily tear like this. The more UV damage the fabric gets, the less repairable it becomes. Stitching through UV damaged fabric creates perforations that weaken the fabric more, much like a perforated piece of paper that tears easily. Avoid long term UV exposure and your tent will last a long time. Happy camping! 🌞
